Overview
Engineer II (Information Engineering) designs, builds, and operates scalable enterprise platforms powering internal teams, focused on identity and access, enterprise systems, security, and automation.
What you'll do
- Design and build automation-driven solutions and system integrations to reduce manual operational work.
- Develop and maintain internal platforms and services for identity management and secure access.
- Design, implement, and support networking and secure access technologies, including Zero Trust Network Access.
- Apply infrastructure as code, version control, testing, and CI/CD to enterprise systems and automation workflows.
- Define and maintain architecture standards and technical guidelines for scalable platforms.
- Partner with Security and Compliance teams on vulnerability management, patching, and incident response initiatives.
- Maintain documentation and provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and certifications.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Experience integrating systems using RESTful APIs, OAuth, and data formats JSON and YAML.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
- Experience designing and maintaining system integrations and automation using APIs and event-driven workflows.
- Experience with identity and access management platforms, particularly Okta and Okta Workflows.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and automation, including using LLMs or AI APIs.
- AWS fundamentals and cloud-native service architecture.
- Experience with endpoint management platforms and enterprise security tools/APIs such as Kandji, Microsoft Intune, CrowdStrike, or Cloudflare.
- Familiarity with SQL or lightweight data querying.
- Experience with message queues or event-driven automation architectures.
