Engineer II, Software Test

Overview

Engineer II, Software Test responsible for manual and automated software testing, verification, validation, defect reporting, and test process improvement.

What you'll do

• Perform manual functional, integration, regression, system, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze requirements and create test scenarios, cases, plans, and scripts.
• Apply software test design techniques including boundary value analysis and decision table testing.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and verify fixes with developers.
• Develop and maintain Playwright automation scripts using Python where applicable.
• Perform mobile device testing across applicable configurations where required.
• Participate in Agile events and contribute to testing process improvements.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in software testing, verification, and validation.
• Strong scenario-based manual testing skills.
• Experience deriving test scenarios from requirements, workflows, and user behavior.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Playwright automation using Python.
• Python and pytest experience.
• Mobile device testing experience.
• Exposure to ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 standards.
• ISTQB or similar certification.
