Engineer M&S ESA- Structural Dynamics

Overview

Engineer responsible for simulating electrical products such as breakers, switchgear and UPS systems using multibody dynamics, vibration and static analysis techniques.

What you'll do

• Define problem statements with technology and product teams.
• Develop simulation models for multibody dynamics, vibration and static critical-to-quality analysis.
• Analyze, interpret and communicate simulation results.
• Provide technical and design recommendations based on simulations.
• Coordinate analysis requirements and solve simple to medium-complexity problems.
• Validate analysis approaches using test data with product and test engineers.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks.

What you'll need

• 0–2 years of relevant experience with a multinational engineering organization.
• MS, ME or M.Tech in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Thorough understanding of fatigue, static, multibody dynamics and vibration analysis methods.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and mechanics modelling techniques.
• Experience with ADAMS, ANSYS Workbench and allied software.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Strong presentation and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Six Sigma or Design for Six Sigma.
