Overview

Engineer, Machine Learning Tools at Qualcomm India, joining the Generative AI team to integrate GenAI model inference on-device on Qualcomm chipsets.

What you'll do

• Spearhead development and commercialization of the Qualcomm AI Runtime (QAIRT) SDK on Qualcomm SoCs.
• Push performance limits for AI inferencing from large models.
• Deploy large C/C++ software stacks using best practices.
• Work on edge-based GenAI deployment for LLMs/Transformers.
• Stay current with Generative AI advancements and inference-engine design.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering/Information Systems/Computer Science or related) and 3+ years software engineering experience, or equivalent degree/work-experience combinations stated.
• 2+ years experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI models including LLM, LVM, LMMs and building blocks (e.g., self-attention, cross attention, kv caching).
• Knowledge of floating-point/fixed-point representations and quantization concepts.
• Strong C/C++ skills, design patterns, and OS concepts.
• Good scripting skills in Python and strong analytical/debugging abilities.
