Engineer - NPI

Overview

Engineer – NPI role at Flex in Sriperumbudur, responsible for new product introduction projects from planning through production launch.

What you'll do

• Manage new product introduction (NPI) projects.
• Act as single point of contact for customers and handle customers on-site for audits.
• Design the project plan and share it with the customer for visibility of product launch and challenges.
• Schedule the kick-off meeting for on-time product launch.
• Implement new products in the production line.
• Develop product build plans and perform production according to manufacturing process instructions.
• Coordinate with program teams to develop the new product schedule and quote.
• Create and maintain build processes, coordinate product builds for release into production, prioritize failures and work with design to resolve issues.

What you'll need

• Typically a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Typically 4+ years of experience.
• Strong experience in new product introduction.
• Experience in product and project management skills.
• Knowledge of ECO/ECN/ECR procedure.
