Engineer, Quality and Release Management

Overview

Supports release operations and DevOps quality for the Agile Release Train (ART), including release activities, CI/CD pipelines, development lab environments, and front-line support for development teams.

What you'll do

• Follow Git workflow, branching, and repository governance standards.
• Review pull requests for quality, security, and release compliance.
• Coordinate release activities and validate readiness across environments.
• Prepare change-management documentation and obtain approvals.
• Monitor CI/CD pipelines, repositories, and development lab environments.
• Execute patching and release activities.
• Troubleshoot development lab incidents and maintain technical documentation.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Quality Engineering, Release Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms.
• Understanding of change management, enterprise patch management, and software release processes.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Working knowledge of Linux and server fundamentals, plus foundational Oracle Database concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with security scanning tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, or Corgea.

Details

• Hybrid position with responsibilities performed virtually and in person at an assigned office at least two days per week.
• Location: Chennai.
