Engineer - SOAR | On-Site, Bangalore.

Overview

Engineer for SOAR, working on-site in Bangalore. The role focuses on building, automating, and operating SOAR workflows and integrations for security operations.

What you'll do

• Implement and develop SOAR solutions such as Google SecOps and Cortex XSOAR.
• Author, test, and maintain automation scripts/workflows within the SOAR platform.
• Design, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable Python code.
• Review, debug, and resolve technical issues across the SDLC.
• Integrate the SOAR platform with security tools and APIs to run automated workflows.
• Coordinate with System Administrators, Engineers, and ISSOs for service account provisioning and permissions.
• Create and improve security operations SOPs, playbooks, and work instructions while tracking metrics and KPIs.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of expert proficiency with Python.
• 3+ years of experience with security-related scripting and APIs.
• 3+ years of experience with SOAR platforms such as Sentinel SOAR, Swimlane, or Phantom.
• Authored SOC SOPs, playbooks, and/or work instructions or other process documents.
• Familiarity with Splunk SPL and/or Elastic DSL and/or regex.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent English fluency.

Details

• On-site role in Bangalore, Karnataka (Work from Office, 3 days a week).
• Availability required during US working hours, 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM IST.
