Engineer - Sourcing

Overview

Manage the supply chain for an assigned category of components and commodities to meet planned manufacturing numbers, supporting the Materials Manager with a growing level of spend commodities.

What you'll do

• Plan material and component requirements through ERP.
• Plan and execute on-time delivery against requirements, ensuring suppliers meet organizational quality requirements and related documentation.
• Adhere to production plans.
• Control inventory and improve inventory turns.
• Forecast long lead time requirements through ERP.
• Manage suppliers for assigned commodities and components.
• Execute continuous improvement projects such as quality improvement, supplier consolidation and standardization.
• Improve RK/PK to customers.

What you'll need

• Mechanical Engineering education.
• ERP knowledge.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability.
• Communication skills.
• Techno-commercial knowledge of the product.
• Languages: English, Hindi.

Nice to have

• Quality/PPAP certifications.

Details

• Fully onsite role at the designated Regal Rexnord office.
• Commodities covered: machined components, sheet metal parts, rubber parts, wire harnesses and fire grade insulation sleeves.
• Travel sometimes as per requirement.
