Engineer - Target India-8

Overview

Engineer responsible for building and improving scalable backend services, distributed systems, APIs, and AI-enabled application capabilities.

What you'll do

• Build and improve backend services and microservices.
• Develop distributed systems and data pipelines.
• Design and develop APIs and contribute to full-stack integrations.
• Write production-ready code and participate in code reviews.
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide production support.
• Contribute to system design and evolve GenAI/ML capabilities.

What you'll need

• 2–4 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Understanding of APIs, microservices, data structures, and problem-solving.
• Understanding of system design and distributed systems concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD, version control, and testing.
• Ability to independently deliver features end-to-end.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, Spark, Docker, Kubernetes, or infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to frontend technologies such as React or TypeScript.
• Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, or vector databases.
• Familiarity with ML tools or agent-based frameworks.
