Engineering Intern – Transport Analytics

Overview

Engineering Intern supporting transport analytics through full-stack development, data integration, and AI experimentation. The role focuses on delivering prototypes and engineering solutions for operational challenges.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain lightweight web applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs connected to analytics databases.
• Query and transform data warehouse pipelines for analytical tools and dashboards.
• Prototype AI workflows using LLM integrations and Agentic AI frameworks.
• Translate business problems into reliable engineering solutions with product and business stakeholders.
• Deliver functional proof-of-concepts for end-user validation.

What you'll need

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• Hands-on project experience with Python.
• Hands-on project experience with Java.
• Understanding of relational databases, SQL/NoSQL, and web applications connected through backend database APIs.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, LLM application architectures, or Agentic AI frameworks.
• Structured, analytical problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with data warehousing or ETL pipelines through an internship, open-source contribution, or academic project.
• Basic understanding of AWS or Azure.
• Basic understanding of Docker.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
