Engineering Lead Analyst

Overview

Engineering Lead Analyst combining the role of Key Management Senior Engineer, leading engineering activities for the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure, with emphasis on delivering and managing key management solutions.

What you'll do

• Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide direction for all firm-mandated controls and compliance initiatives, all projects within the group, and create a technology domain roadmap.
• Ensure all integration of functions meets business goals.
• Define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements.
• Recommend product customization for system integration.
• Identify problem causality, business impact and root causes.
• Advise, mentor, train and coach junior team members.
• Impact the engineering function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating services.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations and Policy, and escalating and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Ensure the goals of the Data Security Engineering department are delivered.
• Execute IT strategy and roadmap for Key Management Systems.
• Ensure operational readiness and conformance to global standards for ongoing operation and support.
• Make evaluative judgment by analyzing information in complicated or unique situations using multiple sources of information.
• Impact engineering through overseeing planning, finances/budget, end results and policy setting.
• Negotiate with senior leaders across functions and with external parties, as required.
• Effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain standards.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of relevant experience in an Engineering role.
• Good experience in common scripting/programming languages such as Java, Python, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Cryptography.
• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment.
• Project Management experience.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices.
• Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
• Proven track record of operational process change and improvement.
• Enhanced experience on cryptographic key management (manual and automated).
• Experience with key management systems used by major cloud providers.
• Experience with enterprise-wide projects.
• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
