Engineering Manager

Overview

Lead a team of engineers and technical professionals to deliver high-quality engineering solutions, products, and services that support MKS business objectives, providing technical leadership, people management, project execution, and strategic direction.

What you'll do

• Lead, develop, and inspire a team of engineers, technical specialists, and project contributors.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Manage resource allocation, workload planning, and project schedules.
• Support innovation, technology development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with global engineering teams to align priorities and execute strategic initiatives.
• Drive a sense of urgency and ownership in addressing customer and business needs.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with progressive technical and leadership responsibilities.
• 3+ years of people management or technical team leadership experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor equipment.
• Experience supporting global engineering organizations.
• Knowledge of product development, quality systems, and engineering lifecycle processes.
• Experience with project management methodologies and business process improvement initiatives.

Details

• Location: Bangalore Whitefield, India.
• Work is performed in office and engineering laboratory environments.
• Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods.
• Ability to use laboratory equipment and occasionally lift and move electronic equipment or test fixtures up to 25 pounds.
• Regular use of electronic test equipment and prototype hardware for product development, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Certain positions may require access to controlled goods and technologies subject to export control regulations, which may limit eligibility where required by law or governmental contract.
