Engineering Manager

Overview

Engineering Manager who leads delivery and technical execution for a designated engineering portfolio, working with engineering and product leadership.

What you'll do

• Work with engineering and product leaders to set roadmap, goals, priorities, and workflow for the flagship portfolio.
• Drive delivery of roadmap items and projects.
• Build and lead technical teams, establishing ways of working for remote and distributed resources.
• Coach engineers through 1:1s and lead performance management and performance reviews.
• Recruit and onboard new team members.
• Ensure consistent engineering practices and delivery methodologies.
• Enable high-quality software delivery by removing roadblocks and escalating issues as needed.

What you'll need

• Experience leading and managing technical teams in a software/SaaS environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading technically complex projects.
• Experience hiring, evaluating performance, and developing skills/careers of software engineers.
• Experience implementing reliable and efficient processes to accelerate development and improve quality.
• Experience driving automation, efficiency, and AI engineering tooling.
• Adoption-level understanding of agile software development methodologies and tools (Jira and Confluence).
