Engineering Manager - Access Essentials - Core Product

Overview

Engineering Manager to lead the Client Foundations team within Okta’s Access Essentials group, supporting iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows client platform foundations.

What you'll do

• Collaborate cross-functionally across teams for product, team health, and customer satisfaction.
• Help define product and technical strategic direction and the team roadmap.
• Provide technical leadership for scalable and maintainable systems.
• Maintain a high quality bar through testing and testing automation.
• Enable key team processes to organize and deliver high-impact projects.
• Lead long-term team building, including recruitment and developing existing talent.

What you'll need

• 3+ years managing engineering teams.
• Experience in stakeholder management including alignment, prioritization, communication, and feedback incorporation.
• 10-15 years of prior development experience, with at least 4 years as a macOS, iOS, or Android engineer.
• Experience with SDLC, testing automation, and release orchestration using gating feature flags and configuration management, plus CI/CD platforms.
• Knowledge of secure web development fundamentals, fault-tolerant systems, and cloud technologies.
