Overview
Engineering Manager for AI & ML focused on building and scaling a Unified AI/ML Data Collection Platform.
What you'll do
- Design and develop scalable AI-driven data collection and enrichment workflows.
- Implement LLM-based workflows including RAG, prompt orchestration, summarization, classification, and automated validation.
- Oversee high-scale ingestion, transformation, and orchestration systems for real-time and batch data collection.
- Establish evaluation frameworks for extraction quality, model performance, hallucination risks, consistency, and data reliability.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership for architecture, system design, scalability, and engineering best practices.
- Lead end-to-end ML lifecycle work from development and experimentation to deployment and monitoring.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of software engineering experience focused on machine learning systems, ML platforms, or distributed systems.
- 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams and leading technical initiatives.
- Experience building production-grade ML systems including model deployment and lifecycle management.
- Hands-on MLOps experience including CI/CD, model monitoring, and experiment tracking (e.g., MLflow, W&B).
- Experience with pipeline orchestration and data platforms (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, Kafka, Snowflake).
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL (or similar).
- Cloud and containerization experience (e.g., AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).
Nice to have
- Experience working with LLM-based systems in production, including RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and scalability trade-offs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams.
Details
- Location: Mumbai.
- Work setup: hybrid work with in-person collaboration each week; most locations are four days in-office each week.
- Travel: limited corporate travel may be required for remote offices and business meetings/events.
