Engineering Manager, Content Onboarding

Overview

Engineering Manager for Notion’s Content Onboarding team, partnering with product and engineering leaders to shape content import systems and related workflows.

What you'll do

• Shape the technical and product vision for Notion’s import systems.
• Plan how customers pull content from sources and transform it into a trustworthy system of record.
• De-risk key technical decisions for importers, exports, and internal admin tooling.
• Develop and connect AI-era/agentic workflow patterns to onboarding and import experiences.
• Drive engineering excellence through reliable systems and operational standards across critical workflows.

What you'll need

• Provide strong technical leadership, including clear processes and delegation.
• Craft and maintain multi-quarter team strategy with adjacent product/engineering dependencies.
• Develop senior engineers and build high-performing engineering teams with durable standards.
• Lead across time zones as a distributed-team leader while coordinating cross-functionally.
• Represent the team’s work and hold a high engineering bar.

• Role is based in Hyderabad, India.
• Works from the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Anchor Days).
