Engineering Manager - Core Commerce Platform

Overview

Engineering Manager for the Core Commerce Platform, leading teams that build omnichannel services and delivery/availability capabilities.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers building omnichannel services and capabilities.
• Drive planning and execution against team objectives and OKRs.
• Own sprint execution, delivery planning, capacity, dependency, and risk management.
• Partner with Product Owners, Project Managers, Retail Tech, and Tech Leads to deliver business outcomes.
• Ensure inventory availability, delivery promise, and omnichannel capabilities are reliable, accurate, and scalable.
• Coach engineers via feedback, mentoring, performance management, and career development.
• Establish engineering metrics and use data to improve productivity, quality, and delivery predictability.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience in agile delivery environments.
• Experience leading roadmap execution, delivery planning, dependency management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience building APIs, distributed systems, and integration-heavy platforms.
• Familiarity with API-first, cloud-native architectures and design patterns.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, high-volume transactional systems, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with tools for Agile delivery such as Jira & Confluence (or equivalent).
