Overview

Engineering Manager for Consumer Intelligence & Engagement, accountable for engineering delivery and roadmap execution that power personalised consumer experiences across digital channels.

What you'll do

• Deliver engineering roadmap execution and predictable delivery.
• Drive operational excellence across scalable, reliable, reusable services.
• Lead sprint execution, delivery planning, capacity, dependencies, and risk management.
• Adopt experimentation and data-driven decision making to improve consumer experiences.
• Set and track OKRs with transparent reporting and alignment.
• Build metrics to improve productivity, quality, and delivery predictability.
• Coach engineers via feedback, mentoring, performance management, and career development.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience in agile delivery environments.
• Experience leading roadmap execution, delivery planning, dependency management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with consumer data, behavioural signals, and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of personalisation, recommendations, consumer intelligence, experimentation, search, or decisioning platforms.
• Understanding of modern software engineering practices including software architecture, code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development.
• Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence or equivalent for Agile delivery.
