Engineering Services Practitioner

Overview

Design and develop .NET/C# CAD automation and customization solutions that improve engineering productivity, quality, and consistency across engineering software platforms.

What you'll do

• Develop CAD automation tools, macros, utilities, and desktop add-ins.
• Automate 3D part modeling, assemblies, and 2D drawing activities.
• Implement design standards, quality checks, and rule-based validations.
• Extract CAD parameters, properties, BOMs, dimensions, and drawings.
• Support integrations with PLM, analysis, and reporting systems.
• Automate analysis or stress workflow pre-processing, post-processing, and reports.
• Document solutions and take ownership of automation modules or platforms.

What you'll need

• Minimum 2 years of experience in .NET-based automation or customization.
• Strong experience in .NET Architecture.
• Proficiency in C# and desktop application development.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle.
• 15 years of full-time education.

Nice to have

• CATIA V5 or 3DEXPERIENCE customization or automation experience.
• SolidWorks API and AutoCAD .NET customization exposure.
• Familiarity with mechanical or structural engineering workflows.
• Basic knowledge of databases and system integration.
