Engineering Services Practitioner

Overview

Assist with end-to-end engineering services to develop technical engineering solutions, solve problems and achieve business objectives, working across structural and stress design, qualification, configuration and technical management.

What you'll do

• Build knowledge and support the team.
• Participate in problem solving discussions.
• Assist in developing technical engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with team members on engineering projects.
• Contribute to problem-solving initiatives.
• Support in achieving business objectives.
• Engage in structural and stress design activities.
• Provide input on technical management processes.
• Prepare and design rough draft illustrations according to client specifications.
• Create illustration mock-ups using CATIA V6 and engineering drawings.

What you'll need

• Minimum 2 years of experience in illustration design.
• Proficiency in illustration design and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing principles.
• Ability to create detailed technical illustrations.
• Knowledge of engineering design principles.
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings accurately.
• 15 years full time education, with DME, BE in Mechanical, or B Tech Mechanical required.
• Ability to work independently at client site.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of image editing and design software such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience in aerospace technical publication.
• Knowledge of Isodraw CAD process, Tech DRAW and Tech illustrator.
• Knowledge of standard S-1000D and Ispec 2200.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of French language.
• Aerospace & Defense (A&D) and Mechanical Design Engineering skills.
