Engineering Team Leader - ES&T

Overview

Engineering Team Lead for ES&T, supporting the Engineering Systems and Technology organization by supervising controls engineers serving 3M Manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Provide engineering resources and support for manufacturing.
• Handle staffing, workload forecasting, and succession planning.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to align with project objectives.
• Identify and address gaps in technical expertise.
• Directly supervise controls engineers via leadership, coaching, training, and development.
• Allocate work assignments and review progress toward employee objectives.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8 years in a technical, manufacturing, and/or engineering environment.
• Minimum 5 years in machine control system design and commissioning.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience for control engineers.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field (completed and verified prior to start).
