Overview
Join Anaplan's Environment Tooling team as a Platform Engineer (P3) to build and operate the platform infrastructure and non-production environments that let engineers develop, test and deliver services with speed, safety and reliability.
What you'll do
- Empower engineering teams by collaborating in a cross-functional team to build and operate tools, frameworks and platforms that improve developer experience, platform scalability and security for hundreds of engineers.
- Shape the future of environments by contributing to the design, implementation and roll-out of a next-generation environments strategy, helping transition engineering teams to automated, code-defined local and remote ephemeral environments.
- Champion environment health by taking collective ownership of non-production environments, ensuring platform service health and acting as a trusted first port of call for engineering support and troubleshooting.
- Scale deployment and configuration infrastructure by contributing to the maintenance and architectural evolution of Argo CD deployment pipelines, secrets management infrastructure and feature flagging capabilities.
- Evolve existing platform tooling by helping maintain, refactor and modernize Go-based tools, APIs and Kubernetes Operators to eliminate configuration toil and support new platform capabilities.
- Deliver measurable outcomes as a proactive self-starter who takes end-to-end ownership of work through agile practices, planning and road mapping, and participates in the team on-call rota.
