Engr, Software QA 2

Overview

Work as an Engr, Software QA 2 supporting software testing and automation for KLA's Optical Metrology Division, whose systems use optical overlay metrology to help semiconductor manufacturers improve yield and efficiency.

What you'll do

• Advance business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.
• Perform automated software testing and manual testing.
• Develop software or automation scripts in C# or Java.
• Design or work with automation test frameworks such as FlaUI, MS CodedUI, Appium and Selenium.
• Create skills and workflows to automate activities or work processes using available infrastructure.
• Interact and communicate with all levels of staff and project management in business and technical areas, keeping discussions at the appropriate level of abstraction.
• Travel to Israel, the US and other customer locations on short assignments.

What you'll need

• BE, BS or BTech degree with 2 or more years of SW Testing experience.
• Thorough knowledge of SDLC and software engineering.
• Extensive experience in automated software testing and manual testing.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and project management in both business and technical areas, keeping discussions at the appropriate level of abstraction.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and be a great team player.
• Experience developing software or automation scripts in C# or Java; C# is preferred.
• Experience designing or working with different kinds of automation test frameworks, including FlaUI, MS CodedUI, Appium and Selenium.
• Experience creating skills and workflows to automate activities or work processes using any available infrastructure.
• Master's Level Degree and 1 years related work experience, or Bachelor's Level Degree and 2 years related work experience.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of prompting Claude models using Devin or any similar infrastructure is preferred.
• Knowledge of KLA-specific or general semiconductor domain.
• Experience with large software systems or tool applications is preferred.
