Enterprise Account Executive - Bay Area

Overview

Enterprise Account Executive responsible for expanding Chainguard's presence in large organizations by managing complex enterprise sales cycles from pipeline development through closing.

What you'll do

• Own the enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through close.
• Build and manage pipeline across assigned enterprise accounts.
• Lead discovery, qualification, and deal strategy using MEDDPICC or similar frameworks.
• Communicate value to technical stakeholders, security leaders, and executives.
• Partner with Sales Engineering and Customer Engineering on evaluations and technical validation.
• Manage procurement, security reviews, negotiations, forecasting, and pipeline visibility.
• Meet or exceed revenue and pipeline targets.

What you'll need

• 3–5+ years of experience selling complex technical products to enterprise organizations.
• Track record of building pipeline and consistently closing revenue.
• Experience with disciplined enterprise sales processes such as MEDDPICC.
• Ability to identify customer pain and sell measurable business value.
• Experience navigating multi-stakeholder buying cycles from technical teams to executives.
• Strong deal management and forecast discipline.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

Details

• Remote role in California.
• $325,000 OTE with a 50/50 split.
