Overview
The Enterprise Platform Engineer builds and supports secure, reliable, AI-enabled workforce IT platforms across identity, endpoints, SaaS, and collaboration systems.
What you'll do
- Build and support automations for joiner, mover, and leaver flows, access requests, device management, deprovisioning, and common employee IT needs.
- Support identity and access capabilities including SSO, MFA, least privilege, birthright access, and directory/group models.
- Operate zero-touch device provisioning and management for macOS and Windows, including app packaging, patch automation, policy compliance, and drift detection.
- Use AI tools, APIs, workflows, and event-driven patterns to improve platform operations with appropriate access controls and human review.
- Create self-service experiences, runbooks, and enablement content for common IT needs.
- Add telemetry, logging, dashboards, and evaluation to test, monitor, debug, and improve automations and AI-assisted workflows.
- Participate in Tier 2/3 incidents, perform root cause analysis, and feed learnings back into automations and standards.
What you'll need
- 2–5 years of experience in IT engineering, platform engineering, systems administration, or a similar role.
- Working knowledge of identity and access concepts: SSO, MFA, least privilege, directory/group management, and standards-based provisioning.
- Experience supporting macOS and/or Windows with modern device management, including packaging, patching, baselines, or compliance reporting.
- Ability to script and integrate systems using APIs, webhooks, workflow orchestration, or similar automation techniques.
- Familiarity with SaaS administration, collaboration tools, and employee-facing technology platforms.
- Experience with incident/change management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and documented follow-through.
- Clear written and verbal communication to document processes and explain systems to technical and non-technical audiences.
