IT Systems Engineer

Overview

IT Systems Engineer to improve how IT tools, systems, and processes work together through automation, integrations, and simplifying growing complexity.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain automation workflows across core IT systems.
• Consolidate tools and improve SaaS lifecycle processes.
• Own and improve vendor management processes including procurement, renewals, intake, and documentation.
• Build and maintain integrations between systems including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, MDM, and ITSM.
• Contribute to and help enforce IT documentation standards.
• Identify and address technical debt in high-friction workflows.
• Shift IT from reactive support to proactive, strategic partnership.

What you'll need

• Fluency in scripting such as Bash and Python.
• Experience with APIs and automation platforms like Workato or Zapier.
• Ability to leverage generative AI tools to improve IT workflows and automation.
• Comfort collaborating cross-functionally with other teams and stakeholders.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable systems.
• Documentation-forward approach focused on clarity and scalable team knowledge.

Details

• In-person role based at San Francisco headquarters.
• Expected to work onsite to collaborate and support the office's IT needs.
• Base pay range: $116,000.00 to $174,000.00 (San Francisco, CA).
