Equity Advisor

About the role

Join Merits Capital, a 33-year-old research-driven wealth and investment management firm, as an Equity Advisor and build a rewarding career in India's capital markets. You'll advise high-net-worth clients on equity and investment opportunities while driving revenue through advisory and cross-selling investment solutions on a technology-enabled platform.

What you'll do

• Acquire and advise clients on equity and investment opportunities, building long-term relationships through direct engagement
• Generate business through referrals, networking, and prospecting in your territory
• Drive revenue through equity advisory services and cross-sell Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, Insurance, PE, and other investment products
• Conduct portfolio reviews and provide timely market insights to clients
• Leverage AI and technology-driven tools to enhance advisory quality and client experience

What we're looking for

• Graduate + 3 years relevant experience OR Postgraduate + 2 years relevant experience in Equity Management, Broking, Investment Advisory, Capital Markets, PMS/AIF Distribution, or HNI Acquisition
• Proven track record in client acquisition and revenue generation in wealth/investment advisory
• Strong understanding of equity markets, investment products, and portfolio construction
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with high-net-worth individuals

Nice to have

• NISM VIII certification or equivalent capital markets credentials
• Experience in multi-product advisory or cross-selling financial solutions
• Familiarity with technology-enabled advisory platforms
