Overview

Work as an ERP System Reliability/Platform Engineer for Roche’s SAP ERP landscape, focusing on reliability, performance, and availability across SAP systems including S/4HANA and integrated enterprise environments.

What you'll do

• Lead cross-application reliability and performance management for SAP Digital Core platforms.
• Drive proactive SAP system health monitoring and performance tuning.
• Conduct capacity planning, bottleneck analysis, and system tuning across application layers, databases, and infrastructure.
• Provide operational support for critical incidents impacting core SAP systems and work to maintain high uptime.
• Monitor and enhance reliability, performance, and scalability across integrated SAP landscapes.
• Perform problem management via root-cause identification and preventive actions to minimize downtime.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in an SAP ERP landscape.
• Deep technical expertise across the SAP ecosystem, including SAP system architecture and ABAP/SQL tuning.
• Experience with performance optimization (bottleneck identification, root-cause analysis, tuning techniques, load testing, data analysis).
• Solid understanding of cross-application dependencies and SAP integration points (e.g., between S/4HANA, BTP, and middleware).
• Experience in capacity management, system sizing, and preventive monitoring strategies.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture with exposure to BTP and cloud deployments.
