ERP Technical Specialist

Overview

The Business Process Analyst serves as liaison between organizational stakeholders, end users and the technical solution development team, analyzing software implementation from business requirements through testing and implementation support.

What you'll do

• Manage the processes and techniques that elicit the information needed from the business and its users to facilitate solution development.
• Analyze software implementation, including developing business requirements, process design, procurement, testing and implementation support.
• Understand the structure, relationships and business rules of the organization, and identify linkages between its strategies, organization, people, data and systems, business policies and business rules, and physical assets.
• Model the business as is versus the requirements.
• Analyze the business using a variety of techniques and initiatives of varying scope.
• Define project success and validate requirements.
• Manage the concept phase and framing of the project to support and guide the development of system requirements and business cases.
• Provide engagement and delivery of high-level business requirements, functional and nonfunctional requirements, detailed requirements, build and development support, support during test and delivery phases, and change management.
• Support testing, identify project delivery issues and risks, and assist with mitigation strategies.
• Work with the IT professional during the different phases of the project life cycle.
• Engage stakeholders from senior business leaders to technical teams.
• Assist in the professional and technical development of team members.
• Coordinate customer responses to capture changes in business requirements.
• Provide quality assurance advice to vendors working on system requirements and system integration build deliverables.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, OR MBA in Operations/Supply Chain, OR Bachelor's in Computers/Engineering with a master's in Operations/Supply Chain.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
• Experience in Supply chain/Operations in the industry.
• Ability to work in a global distributed setting without supervision.
• Self-driven, proactive, systems thinking.

Nice to have

• Experience in implementing business applications in a functional role.
