ETO CAD Designer

Overview

Prepare and maintain engineering or sustaining project design layouts, production drawings and related documentation per ANSI/Schlumberger standards, considering methods of manufacture and the effect of tolerances on related parts or assemblies.

What you'll do

• Prepare and maintain engineering or sustaining project design layouts.
• Prepare and maintain production drawings and other related documentation.
• Develop cable tray routing layouts.
• Develop lighting layouts.
• Develop earthing/grounding layouts.
• Develop electrical equipment layouts.
• Develop single line diagrams.
• Review electrical layouts, models and drawings.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and design standards.
• Coordinate and work with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

What you'll need

• 0 to 10 years of experience.
• Diploma in Electrical and Instrumentation streams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in any 3D modeling/design software, including SolidWorks, Revit, SP3D or E3D.
• Good understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Knowledge of preparing and reviewing electrical layouts, models and drawings.
• Basic understanding of electrical equipment and installation requirements.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and design standards.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Strong coordination skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong fundamentals of electrical engineering.
• Electrical modelling and drafting skills.
• Electrical layout design and development experience.
