Expert Software Engineer

Overview

Design, develop, analyze, and maintain high-quality software product applications as an Expert Software Engineer.

What you'll do

• Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Design and develop high-quality code.
• Test, debug, analyze, and fix application problems/issues.
• Work closely with stakeholders to fix issues in a timely fashion.
• Follow the software development lifecycle process.
• Interact with internal stakeholders to support product releases and/or resolve program problems.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

What you'll need

• [X] years’ software development experience including design and development.
• Experience with C#.
• Experience with JavaScript.
• Experience with VB.
• Experience with PowerShell.
• Experience with Angular 2.
• Experience with Azure PaaS.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with HTML.
• Familiarity with CSS.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity independently.
• Strong technical, analytical, and development skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of required programming languages.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Experience with C#, JavaScript, VB, PowerShell, Angular 2, and Azure PaaS preferred.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS, and SQL preferred.
• Financial industry experience preferred.
