FBS Sr Solution Engineer

Overview

A Solution Engineer designs and delivers technology solutions that align with business objectives, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable, efficient solutions for complex business initiatives.

What you'll do

• Engage with cross-functional business stakeholders and technical teams to understand and address complex initiatives within a business unit or at the enterprise level.
• Participate in discussions to gather requirements, develop solutions, validate technology assumptions, and evaluate implementation alternatives.
• Influence solution strategies by leveraging in-depth business knowledge and practical experience in solution engineering.
• Lead multiple technical projects simultaneously by prioritizing and coordinating solution engineering efforts across teams and initiatives.
• Use established performance metrics to measure effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
• Manage non-functional requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards throughout solution development and delivery.
• Act as a servant leader for the solution by ensuring Agile Release Trains operate effectively, and identify and resolve constraints across development and delivery while collaborating with Release Train Engineers.
• Provide a systems view of the development lifecycle to guide technology delivery and align architecture with business objectives.
• Develop and refine technical designs to meet business requirements for complex solutions while ensuring scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with developers and Agile Release Trains to align solutions with enterprise architecture.
• Work with DevOps teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines that streamline deployment and integrate new features.
• Engage with quality assurance teams to validate that technical solutions meet performance and reliability standards.
• Ensure technical implementations align with product roadmaps and overarching business strategies.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues affecting delivery timelines, and contribute to technical problem-solving during development and deployment.
• Maintain technical documentation for solutions to facilitate knowledge sharing and update it as architecture or functionality changes.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay current with trends and technologies in solution engineering, and share best practices across business units and the enterprise.
• Support pioneering of design and development practices to promote innovation and improvement across solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll need

• Total experience of 9 to 12 years.
• Relevant experience of 9 to 12 years.
• Must-have skills: Java and Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, end-to-end design experience, Gen AI, GCP.
