FBS SR Solutions Engineer (Guidewire)

Overview

Lead Guidewire configuration and integration solutions for complex insurance initiatives, serving as a subject matter resource for the Guidewire platform and working with business stakeholders, solution engineers, architects and Agile teams.

What you'll do

• Optimize Guidewire configuration and build reliable integrations using APIs and messaging frameworks.
• Improve development and deployment processes through CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Ensure successful technology delivery across lines of business and the enterprise.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Actively participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, backlog refinement, daily stand ups, system demos, and retrospectives, delivering committed sprint and PI objectives.

What you'll need

• Over 9 years of experience required in a similar role.
• Full English fluency.
• Guidewire PolicyCenter 9.0.5 and 10 development and GOSU language experience (MUST).
• Advanced (7+ years) Java (MUST), J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, Spring JPA, SpringBoot, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle.
• Advanced (7+ years) production experience, E2E, document gathering, process.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities.
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns.

Nice to have

• Data Architecture & Governance experience.
• Policy Center Specialization certificate.
• Cloud Policy Center experience.
• PolicyCenter Data model, Guidewire Rating Engine, PolicyCenter Product Model and PolicyCenter integration in GOSU and PCF Web Service, Batch and Plugin (listed as advanced skills).

• Locations: Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai (India).
• Overlap 2am – 12pm ET and flexibility to work with US Time Zone.
