Field Application Engineer

Overview

The Field Application Engineer provides technical leadership and consulting to support customer designs, supplier technologies, demand creation, and design wins.

What you'll do

• Drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on customer designs.
• Partner with sales on pre- and post-sales technical support.
• Research and calibrate technical solutions with sales, departments, and suppliers.
• Develop technical plans by supplier line or customer solution.
• Build relationships with supplier and customer decision makers.
• Organize engineering customer events and support design services initiatives.
• Attend supplier trainings, strategic branch meetings, and QBRs.

What you'll need

• 5–7 years of related experience with a 4-year degree.
• 3 years of related experience with an advanced degree may also qualify.
• Equivalent work experience may be considered.
• In-depth technical knowledge and experience.
• Ability to solve complex problems using existing solutions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Ability to provide informal guidance to junior staff.

Details

• Hybrid arrangement: 1 day in the office and 4 days on the road or from home.
• Work is in the Ohio market.
• Full-time position.
• Annual hiring range: $76,600–$150,150.
