Finance - Accountant

Overview

Support the Accounting Manager or Accounting Cycle Analyst in carrying out Group and local accounting activities, ensuring accurate records and timely financial information for financial statements.

What you'll do

• Ensure General Ledger (GL) entries and transactions comply with Group standards, local regulations, and accounting procedures.
• Record, verify, and control accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
• Explain account reconciliations and provide supporting documents to reviewers, internal and external auditors, and internal controllers.
• Complete closing activities and reporting within prescribed deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate accounting records to support the timely preparation of financial statements.
• Support the Accounting Manager or Accounting Cycle Analyst in meeting Group and local accounting requirements.

What you'll need

• Education: B.Com, M.Com, or MBA with a sound foundation in accounting principles.
• Experience: 1–3 years in Accounting, General Ledger (GL), or Record-to-Report (R2R).
• Technical skills: Experience working with any ERP systems.
