Overview
Finance Associate role focused on general accounting, balance sheet/P&L analysis, and supporting month-end close with compliance to internal controls and accounting standards.
What you'll do
- Perform general accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Analyze balance sheet and P&L accounts, investigate variances, and resolve open items with stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end close deliverables while meeting internal control and reporting requirements.
- Apply accounting knowledge to support accounting and financial reporting activities.
- Identify and support process improvement opportunities for simplification, standardization, and automation to improve efficiency.
- Use automation and digital tools to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting.
What you'll need
- 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and ability to interpret and apply guidance.
- Experience with General Accounting / Record-to-Report (R2R) processes and month-end close activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred), and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
