Finance Intern

Overview

Finance Shared Services Intern supporting global AP, AR, and Collections operations at the Finance Shared Services Center (FSSC) in Gurugram. You’ll help with projects to standardize, scale, and automate finance processes.

What you'll do

• Support day-to-day AP, AR, and Collections activities including invoice processing, matching, reconciliations, and follow-ups.
• Assist with process documentation, standardization, and scalability projects across regions.
• Track metrics including DSO, DPO, aging, bad debts, and touchless processing rates and prepare simple dashboards.
• Review Desktop Procedures (DTPs) and SOPs for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and flag gaps and control weaknesses.
• Support standardization and automation initiatives including workflow automation, RPA, AI, and straight-through processing.
• Coordinate with finance colleagues across regions/time zones on data gathering, process mapping, analysis, and reporting.

What you'll need

• Commerce graduate (B.Com equivalent) requirement.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals including journal entries and the accounting cycle.
• Knowledge of AP/AR concepts and reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of MS Tools, Gmail, and ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a structured approach.
• Analytical mindset with willingness to question existing processes.
