Financial Reporting, Associate 2

Overview

Support the production and oversight process for SEC Form N-PORT and N-CEN filings, managing client relationships through implementation and business-as-usual support.

What you'll do

• Perform detailed calculation testing and interact with clients on results.
• Execute and track client-specific tasks and checks.
• Prepare, file and test N-PORT and N-CEN forms, including SEC test filings.
• Respond to client comments through the MySS portal.
• Review alerts and exceptions and publish forms to the client workflow.
• Assist with user access requests for the MySS portal.
• Assist with client training on the MySS portal.
• On-board additional funds and clients to the ESP tool.
• Complete internal reviews of N-PORT and N-CEN filings.
• Work with the ESP application support team and Agile technology labs to test and finalize the technology solution for these filings.
• Assist in creating and maintaining standard operating procedures and checklist oversight procedures for the filing review process.

What you'll need

• Experience in mutual funds accounting, compliance, auditing or related business activity.
• Good knowledge of financial products such as bonds, swaps, futures, options and equity.
• Strong technology, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to interact with diverse audiences; team player.
• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in accounting, business or a related field.

Nice to have

• MBA (a plus but not required).
• Experience in financial accounting and financial products such as equities, bonds and derivative products.
• Knowledge of CPO-PQR, Form PF or AIFMD.
