Fire Alarm- Design Engineer

Overview

Fire Alarm- Design Engineer responsible for designing Fire Alarm Systems according to customer/account standards and building codes, including NFPA 72.

What you'll do

• Design fire alarm systems per local codes, standards, and NFPA 72 requirements.
• Execute project independently across the full lifecycle.
• Review MEP drawings and tender specifications to identify fire alarm requirements.
• Complete input study using an input checklist and raise RFIs.
• Prepare fire alarm layouts and engineering BOM.
• Ensure quality assurance and defect-free fire alarm drawings delivery.
• Follow processes to meet on-time delivery within project timelines.

What you'll need

• BE degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Communication.
• 4-8 years’ experience in a relevant field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Domain knowledge of fire alarm systems.
• Ability to independently carry out hardware detail design, engineering, and application development.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72, IBC, and relevant codes/standards.
• AutoCAD hands-on experience.
