Fire & Life Safety Engineer

Overview

Fire & Life Safety Engineer/Consultant delivering code consulting and performance-based design for fire and life safety projects in India.

What you'll do

• Conduct code consulting, fire safety drawing reviews, and prepare reviews/reports.
• Attend client project and design meetings and complete assigned tasks on schedule and within budget.
• Prepare and present technical reports and analysis.
• Lead and carry out design reviews.
• Manage reports and presentations while managing stakeholder expectations.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of relevant experience in fire engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in code consulting.
• Experience developing performance-based strategies in a project design environment.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Fire safety Engineering (preferred).
• Excellent report writing, interpersonal, and communication skills (speaking and writing).
• Ability to present technically sound fire engineering strategies and enforce standards.
• Ready to travel as required.
