Firmware Engineer

Overview

Firmware Engineer role focused on embedded firmware development for capacitive touch products and microcontroller-based systems.

What you'll do

• Develop C and assembly applications for 8-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers.
• Work on firmware-hardware co-development and related coding/design tasks.
• Lead efforts for development of assigned project modules and deliver on committed timelines.
• Collaborate with multi-site, cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders.
• Adhere to standards, guidelines, and best practices for design and development.

What you'll need

• Very strong C programming experience in an embedded environment.
• In-depth work experience with microcontroller peripherals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor and lead a team or project as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant industry experience in firmware design and development.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of DMA, ADC, I2C, and SPI peripheral.
• Familiarity with Jenkins and basic CI/CD concepts.
• Experience with MPLAB or Harmony and ARM toolchains.
• Experience with capacitive touch.
• Knowledge of CMSIS, ISO26262, and CLASS-B.
• Automation framework experience.
• Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and frontend test automation.
