Firmware Engineer - Firmware Development

Overview

Firmware Engineer working on real-time embedded firmware for microcontrollers, with focus on low-power electronics and functional safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Develop low-power electronics firmware for microcontrollers.
• Design embedded applications that communicate with peripheral components.
• Implement filters at the code level.
• Design firmware to meet functional safety standards requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve firmware bugs, validating via testing.
• Support hardware integration with Python applications.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7 years of experience in low-power electronics firmware development.
• Programming knowledge in Embedded C/C++, Python, and Assembly languages.
• Experience using RTOS.
• Tools knowledge including IAR Workbench and Keil IDE.
• Version control experience using SVN.
• Lab equipment experience including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as HART, Foundation Fieldbus, PROFIBUS, MODBUS, PROFINET, and LORA.
