Fluent OMS Developer

Overview

Fluent OMS Developer to design and build order orchestration and business logic on the Fluent Commerce/Fluent platform.

What you'll do

• Design and implement order orchestration workflows on the Fluent Commerce platform.
• Develop custom Rules in Java using the Fluent SDK (Rules SDK).
• Build and consume Fluent’s GraphQL API (queries and mutations for Order, Fulfilment, Inventory, Availability, Returns, Location).
• Build and extend UI components using the OMX UX Framework.
• Integrate Fluent Commerce with enterprise and commerce systems via event-driven patterns, webhooks, connectors, and middleware.
• Configure inventory and sourcing logic, including ATP and fulfilment location networks.
• Troubleshoot production issues and safely re-trigger or remediate workflows.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong core Java skills.
• Hands-on Fluent Commerce / Fluent Order Management experience (workflows, rules, Fluent SDK).
• Solid GraphQL experience (schemas, queries, mutations) and comfort with REST/JSON/API design.
• Understanding of event-driven and asynchronous architectures (webhooks, message/event handling).
• Experience integrating enterprise systems via APIs and middleware.
• Familiarity with cloud (AWS preferred), Git-based version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
