Forward Deployed Engineer

Overview

A NiCE AI Forward Deployed Engineer is a highly technical full-stack engineer responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI-driven customer engagement solutions using NiCE’s digital and AI portfolio.

What you'll do

• Design, prototype, and operationalize AI agents for production customer self-service.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems to enable scalable omnichannel engagement.
• Own the full AI agent lifecycle from early pilot through launch and ongoing refinement.
• Translate customer and business challenges into intelligent automation solutions across voice and digital channels.
• Develop agentic systems to improve retention and reduce churn versus human operators.
• Design reusable agent frameworks for different industries and CX use cases.

What you'll need

• Hands-on experience building and operating end-to-end production systems at scale.
• Experience developing or operating AI/LLM-powered systems in production.
• Working knowledge of AI agent toolkits including evaluation frameworks, orchestration tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity/advantage with React and TypeScript and/or Go.
• Ability to work face-to-face with customers to unpack problems and deliver practical solutions.
• Clear communication skills to collaborate with engineers and executives in ambiguity.
