Frontend Engineer

Overview

Build core web experiences for Chat, Notes, Calendar, Docs and Sheets as a Web Frontend Engineer. Own interactive product surfaces from architecture through production implementation.

What you'll do

• Build web experiences across Chat, Notes, Calendar, Docs and Sheets.
• Develop real-time messaging, collaborative editing, rich-text editing, scheduling, tables and spreadsheets.
• Create reusable frontend architecture and components.
• Integrate streaming AI responses and proactive actions into product workflows.
• Own frontend performance, responsiveness, reliability and accessibility.
• Collaborate with product and design from prototype through production.

What you'll need

• Strong experience building production web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture and state management.
• Knowledge of browser APIs and frontend performance.
• Experience building interactive products such as chat, collaboration, productivity or document-editing tools.
• Experience with real-time systems, WebSockets, streaming APIs or collaborative interfaces.
• Ability to own features from technical design through production.
