Full Stack Developer

Overview

WorldQuant is seeking a Full Stack Developer to build and enhance internal analytical tools and dashboard applications that support product, platform, and business workflows.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain internal analytical tools and dashboards.
• Build single-page applications using React and component libraries.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and workflows.
• Use SQL and/or Polars to support reporting, analysis, and application data.
• Support testing, deployment, and CI/CD processes.
• Improve dashboards for usability, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve workflows and operational visibility.

What you'll need

• 2–5+ years of experience in web development, analytics, or related roles.
• Experience with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Expertise in constructing and processing complex SQL queries.
• Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in at least one general purpose language: Python, Java, or C++.
• Knowledge of database design, index structures, and stored procedures.
