Full Stack Engineer

Overview

Full Stack Engineer role focused on designing and implementing scalable, cloud-native applications for scientists, with an emphasis on production-grade AI/ML data products and platform reliability.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end design and implementation of cloud-native full-stack applications.
• Deliver production-grade data products that enable AI/ML use cases for discovery.
• Build and improve product/UX features for drug discovery workflows.
• Collaborate with product, design, data science, and scientific teams on services and journeys.
• Propose changes to data models and core architecture/codebase to improve quality and velocity.
• Plan, implement, and support infrastructure for scalability, reliability, performance, and availability.

What you'll need

• Cloud experience designing end-to-end full stack software.
• Deep expertise in Java and Python.
• Experience with at least one major web framework including Spring, Flask, or Django.
• Strong front-end skills with React, Angular, or Vue.js, plus CSS and Bootstrap.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and query optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in Linux environments.
• CI/CD experience using automation tooling such as Jenkins, TravisCI, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Demonstrable data structures and design patterns expertise (and related anti-patterns).
• Experience with coding best practices like testing, code review, and version control.
