Full Stack Engineer

Overview

Design, develop, test and deploy web applications and APIs across backend and frontend, using Python with AWS Lambda, React JS and MongoDB, within an Agile team.

What you'll do

• Design, develop and maintain backend services using Python, AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Build and enhance frontend interfaces using React JS, ensuring responsive and intuitive user experiences.
• Integrate MongoDB for data storage and retrieval, optimizing queries for performance and scalability.
• Implement unit testing for backend and frontend components to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Write secure code, following best practices for authentication, authorization and data protection.
• Utilize AWS components (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.) for application deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate build, test and deployment pipelines.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in cloud environments.
• Work closely with product owners, designers and other developers in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
• Participate in backlog grooming, task estimation and sprint execution.
• Communicate progress, risks and dependencies to project leads.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation and security guidelines.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and maintain high code quality.
• Continuously improve development processes and share knowledge with the team.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies in Python, React JS, AWS and secure coding.
• Identify opportunities to optimize application performance and team productivity.
• Implement feedback mechanisms and metrics to measure product quality and process efficiency.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Internet of Things (IoT) Platforms.
• 15 years full time education.
• Strong proficiency in Python (including AWS Lambda and API development).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
• Advanced skills in React JS for frontend development.
• Experience with MongoDB and data modeling for web applications.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Jest).
• Understanding of GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted coding tools.
• Proven ability to write secure, maintainable and well-documented code.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
