GCP Data Engineer - Senior Associate

Overview

Senior Associate for GCP Data Engineering, designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and cloud-native data platforms on Google Cloud Platform.

What you'll do

• Design and develop data pipelines and warehousing solutions based on architectural blueprints.
• Build and maintain data ingestion, processing, and transformation workflows within GCP.
• Implement data transformation logic using dbt or Dataform.
• Build and manage data orchestration workflows using Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer.
• Set up DataOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring.
• Apply security and governance best practices such as access control, encryption, and audit logging.

What you'll need

• 4–8 years of professional experience in data engineering, software development, or big data architecture.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Advanced SQL skills for complex data analysis and query tuning.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and custom pipeline development.
• Experience building and managing complex DAGs in Apache Airflow (Cloud Composer).
• Hands-on experience with dbt for transformation logic and quality testing.
