HR Strats / Data Engineer – Vice President, HR Business Management

Overview

Vice President for HR Strats / Data Engineering in Bengaluru to lead HR service delivery automation and data-driven workforce decision support.

What you'll do

• Design, build, test, and deploy internal HR applications and tools.
• Lead HR process cycles end-to-end (compensation, workforce planning, talent reviews).
• Own the full product and development lifecycle from requirements through implementation and enhancement.
• Build backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and integrations using Python, SQL, Snowflake, and approved technologies.
• Translate workforce and operating needs into product requirements, technical designs, and roadmaps with business/HR/technology leaders.
• Apply software engineering practices including version control, code review, automated testing, deployment controls, and observability.
• Evaluate and deploy emerging technologies such as GenAI, AI agents, and workflow automation for HR capabilities.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another quantitative discipline (advanced degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in Consulting, Transformation, Automation, AI Enablement, or Operational Excellence.
• Hands-on delivery experience for software applications, internal tools, or workflow products used by business stakeholders.
• Strong Python and SQL development skills for production applications/services/data workflows.
• Experience with web application architecture, APIs, source control, testing frameworks, and modern software development practices.
• Strong understanding of data governance, controls, and model validation.
• Strong communication to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders and turn ambiguous problems into working products.
